GIT: Goats in Training
Help train baby goats for yoga!
Service Description
Join us at the farm (in the heated part of the barn!) for Goats in Training (GIT)! During a GIT class, you will be on the floor while snuggling and petting baby goats, and letting them practice jumping up and down on your back. This important practice will help prepare them for spring goat yoga classes through socialization and jumping on humans. You will need to bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket for this activity. We will be on the floor. We will not have chairs for sitting; we do not want the babies to attempt to jump on them and fall and get injured. Plan to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, and leave long necklaces and dangly earrings at home. You may wish to pull back your hair if you have long hair. Baby goats like to nibble to explore their world. Please note: this is NOT a goat yoga class; NO yoga will be happening. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, NO exceptions. Don't forget your yoga mat or blanket, and be ready to have fun training and playing with baby goats! Only participants registered for class are permitted at the farm—please do not bring spectators or unregistered participants to class. Class registration is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Refunds are not issued if participants cancel or do not show up for their scheduled class. If class is cancelled by Nittany Meadow Farm for unforeseen circumstances, refunds will be issued.
